We have developed a stream-lined process that can accurately produce a replica from the original set of dentures all within our Wellington based clinic. The new Denture Scan and Denture Replica services mean anyone, anywhere, can access this type of dental service.
How does this new denture services technology work?
The whole process has been developed with our patients in mind, to make it as easy and as simple as possible, particularly with high-risk patients in mind. We are very proud to offer this technologically advanced service.
All you need to do is send us your current dentures, which are then scanned and manufactured into an exact replica of your original dentures.
Using these advanced technologies, we will scan the patient’s current dentures with specially developed scanners and software. This information is then used to create a temporary 3D replica of the original dentures or a longer-lasting acrylic milled replica of the original set of dentures.
We can also offer a Scan and Save service which means the patient’s denture profile will always be saved. In the event the dentures get lost at any time, there will be a digital copy or record available which makes getting a replacement set easy if you ever need to do so.

How to get a set of Denture Replicas

It’s as easy as Step 1, 2 and 3.
- Step one is call our reception for an obligation -free discussion, followed by e-mailing us a photo. We can replicate most Full and Partial Acrylic Dentures! We then send you all necessary information by email.
- Step two typically involves you (or a trusted family member or friend) dropping off your dentures at our clinic. If you live outside the region, talk to us about options!
- Step three involves a professional clean of your dentures and scanning using our state-of-the-art Denture equipment. Aside from this good hygiene and disinfectant protocol, the clean also results in a superior digital copy.
- Step four is where it gets exciting for our team. We use world leading specialized denture replacing software to create a “copy” of your existing dentures! It is an exacting recreation of the contour, dimensions and teeth shape of your familiar smile!
- Step five is manufacture of your replica set. This comes down to the type of denture you choose: temporary or conventional acrylic.
The temporary involves MedSafe approved Resins, the world leading Asiga printer and adherence to strict post curing protocols!
The PMMA or acrylic copy denture involves milling your dentures using complicated and highly specialized milling machines!
The final part of the process is to send the dentures back to you… it’s that easy and the whole process is contactless!
